December Jurisdictional Update – India
Update provided by Ramesh Vaidyanathan with Advaya Legal:
Operations are increasing, and consolidation is occurring, resulting in lower fares and better connectivity for passengers. The new airline Akasa Air started operations, the privatization of Air India is continuing to take shape, and Air India and Vistara are merging.
A new regulatory change allows wide-bodied aircraft to be leased for longer terms.
