ARNECKE SIBETH AND DABELSTEIN & PASSEHL, HAMBURG/LEER ARE MERGING
The formal agreement on 30 November 2017 on the merger of both firms to merge creates a globally connected law firm with a presence in four of the most important German business centers– and optimally connected world-wide.
The merger becomes effective in economic terms as from 1 January 2018. In spring 2018 Dabelstein & Passehl (8 partners, 29 fee earners) will be joining the market from six office locations in Germany under the brand name of ARNECKE SIBETH DABELSTEIN.
By taking this step the firm with more than 150 fee earners working from offices in Frankfurt/Main, Munich, Hamburg, Berlin, Leer and Dresden will become one of the largest Mid-market players in the German legal market. On an international level both firms are bringing a substantial presence and reputation into the new entity – Dabelstein & Passehl already through their focus on the international maritime industry over the past 80 years and Arnecke Sibeth, amongst other things, through its memberships in the top-ranking prestigious networks INTERLAW and MERITAS.
