Emma Wilson is a transactional attorney whose practice is primarily focused on representing clients in matters that fall under the purview of the Federal Transportation Code, FAA Regulations, FAA Aircraft Registry, Cape Town Convention and International Registry, particularly as it pertains to the buying, selling, leasing, registration, ownership and operation of aircraft. Her practice regularly involves reviewing FAA records for aircraft, engines and propellers and advising local, national and international clients regarding title issues and liens and encumbrances of record at the FAA. She also reviews security agreements, leases, bills of sale and other documents to ensure compliance with FAA regulations and procedures.
Emma’s achievements have earned her inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch (transportation law).
Prior to entering law school, Emma received a Fulbright Commission scholarship from the U.S. Department of State and served as an English foreign language assistant in Germany for one year. During her time overseas, she also worked as an intern in the U.S. Consulate General Office for four months. She is fluent in German.
In addition to her private practice, Emma has served as a teaching assistant for the University of Oklahoma College of Law’s Master of Legal Studies in International Business Law Program, facilitating a course titled “European Union Business and Competition Law” during the Spring 2020 semester.
