Hannah Coker is a transactional lawyer who represents local, national, and international clients in connection with matters involving the buying, selling, leasing, financing and registration of aircraft. While her practice is focused on aircraft matters falling under the purview of the Federal Transportation Code, FAA Regulations, and the FAA Aircraft Registry , it also extends to matters arising under the Cape Town Convention on International Interests in Mobile Equipment and the Aircraft Protocol with regard to the filing of interests and prospective interests in aircraft with the International Registry.
Hannah’s practice includes the examination of complex aircraft, engine and propeller records housed at the FAA Aircraft Registry in Oklahoma City and rendering abstracts and/or conclusive title and lien memorandums. She also reviews and assists with drafting legal opinions, security agreements, lease agreements, bills of sale, applications for registration, and other instruments to assure compliance with the Federal Aviation Act and governing regulations.
Hannah graduated cum laude from Oklahoma City University School of Law, where she was a Hatton W. Sumners Scholar and received CALI awards for academic excellence in Civil Procedure I, Contracts I, and the American Indian Wills Clinic. She served as a distinguished member of the Oklahoma City University Law Review and completed her externship with McAfee’s Aviation Group. Her desire to practice law stems from a lifelong desire to continually learn, problem solve, and make an impact on any community in which she is placed.
Prior to entering law school, Hannah attended the University of Oklahoma, where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and had the opportunity to study abroad both in Germany and Italy in order to complete minors in Italian language and international studies. Upon graduation, she gained valuable career experience working as a legal assistant for an Oklahoma-based law firm for more than a year.
