Rodrigo Marré Grez has been a partner at MICP Abogados since 2006, and has 30 years of experience advising domestic and international companies on complex commercial, corporate, regulatory, and industry-specific matters. He leads the firm’s Aviation and Logistics Practice, where he advises airlines, operators, aircraft owners and lessors, logistics providers, and other participants in the aviation sector on a broad range of regulatory, commercial, and operational issues.
Throughout his career, Rodrigo has developed extensive experience in aviation law, assisting clients with regulatory compliance, commercial agreements, operational matters, administrative proceedings, and strategic projects involving the aviation and transportation industries. His practice combines a deep understanding of the legal and regulatory framework governing aviation with a practical, business-oriented approach to helping clients navigate a highly regulated and constantly evolving sector.
In addition to leading the firm’s aviation practice, Rodrigo heads the Intellectual Property, Technology Transfer, Patents, Life Sciences and Regulatory practices. He is widely recognized as one of Chile’s leading patent litigators, particularly in the life sciences and agrochemical sectors, and has consistently been ranked by major international legal directories among the country’s top practitioners in intellectual property and patent litigation.
Rodrigo is a frequent speaker at national and international conferences and has authored numerous publications in his areas of expertise, including aviation, regulatory, intellectual property, and technology-related matters.
He is actively involved in several national and international professional organizations, including the International Trademark Association (INTA), the Inter-American Association of Intellectual Property (ASIPI), the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI), the Chilean Intellectual Property Association (ACHIPI), the Network of Technology Managers of Chile (RedGT), and L2B Aviation, further reinforcing his standing within the aviation and regulatory legal communities.
