Much of Tyler’s work is focused on reviewing FAA records for aircraft, engines and propellers and advising local, national and international clients regarding title issues, liens and encumbrances of record at the FAA, and interest of record with the Cape Town Convention’s International Registry. He also reviews security agreements, leases, bills of sale, and other documents to ensure compliance with FAA regulations and procedures for the perfection of ownership, security and lease interests.

Tyler earned his bachelor’s degree in energy management from the University of Oklahoma in 2017 and previously worked as an in-house title landman for a Texas-based private energy investment firm for four years prior to entering law school. He graduated with honors from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2024 while simultaneously achieving the Business and Transactional Law certificate. While in law school, Tyler served as the alumni relations editor for the Oil and Gas, Natural Resources, and Energy Journal, in addition to serving as the chief of staff for the Board of Governors, 2L class vice president, and the vice president of the Oil and Gas, Natural Resources, and Energy Society. During his second year of law school, Tyler was selected as one of three students to serve on the board of academic appeals alongside the school’s deans. He also earned American Jurisprudence Awards for academic achievement in Secured Transactions and Professional Responsibility.
