As a member of one of the world’s largest FAA/International Registry and escrow practices, aviation attorney Nathan Moore focuses his practice primarily on aviation matters that fall under the purview of the Federal Aviation Act (Transportation Code), FAA Regulations, FAA Aircraft Registry, Cape Town Convention on International Interest in Mobile Equipment and the Aircraft Protocol, and International Registry. He routinely represents lenders, lessors, buyers, sellers, lessees and operators on matters related to the acquisition, sale, financing, leasing and operation of commercial, corporate and small aircraft. He also serves as escrow agent of funds and documents for aircraft transactions.
Nathan’s aircraft title practice is focused on reviewing FAA records for aircraft, engines and propellers and advising local, national and international clients regarding title issues, liens and encumbrances of record at the FAA, and interest of record with the Cape Town Convention’s International Registry. He also reviews security agreements, leases, bills of sale, and other documents to ensure compliance with FAA regulations and procedures for the perfection of ownership, security and lease interests.
Nathan graduated summa cum laude with his bachelor’s degree in economics from Oklahoma State University in 2020 and went on to graduate with distinction from the University of Oklahoma College of Law three years later. While in law school, he served as case editor of the Oil and Gas, Natural Resources and Energy Journal, earned two American Jurisprudence Awards for academic achievement, and served as exchequer of the Phi Delta Phi legal honorary society. Nathan also served as a judicial extern for the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma, as a summer law clerk for the U.S. Senate Homeland Security Subcommittee in Washington, D.C., and as a legal intern for the Oklahoma County District Attorney’s Office.
