Sonal Sejpal is a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales with considerable experience in aviation, banking, employment, energy, infrastructure projects and project finance, mergers & acquisitions and capital markets.
Sonal has been a full-time legal Consultant with Anjarwalla & Khanna for over 15 years. Sonal graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree at the University of Westminster, England.
Prior to joining Anjarwalla & Khanna, Sonal worked at Franks Charlesly & Co. in London before returning to Kenya in 1996. Sonal has also contributed to the Kenyan chapters for Aircraft Finance: Registration Security and Enforcement and Aircraft Liens & Detention Rights published by Sweet & Maxwell.
Sonal is a regular speaker at various Euromoney and other seminars on various aspects of banking and commercial law. Sonal has contributed to “the Analyst,” a business magazine in Kenya, The International Law Office and the “The Advocate”, the official Law Society of Kenya magazine. Sonal has also written articles and conducted a series of seminars on many subjects including the practical effects of the new Constitution, the Money Laundering and Proceeds of Crime Act and the new Land Laws.
